Meet The Team pt.3

In this month’s blog, it’s time to meet some more of the Tyler Packaging team! This time we focus on the warehouse, and one of our new starters! The two-man team of Rory and Chris look after our warehouse, and what a great job they do of it! Keeping it clean and tidy so everyone can find what they need, sending out goods and bringing in stock for our customers, and bringing up samples to send out to customers! Get to know about them more below! In this blog you will also meet Fiona, the newest member of our sales team, who started with us at the start of the month!

Chris

Typical day in the warehouse

A typical day at the warehouse starts with a walk around the floor to make sure everything is in working order, followed by a quick check of the day’s schedule to see what goods are coming in and going out. Once that’s clear, the day quickly picks up pace.

From there, they are either on the warehouse floor or in the office, balancing hands-on support with planning tasks. They spend time picking orders using handheld scanners, checking accuracy, and preparing everything securely for dispatch. Deliveries get unloaded and checked against paperwork, pallets are replenished to keep stock levels right, and they’ll often be on the forklift moving goods safely around the site.

Throughout the day, the team work closely, making sure targets are met or supporting others to keep operations smooth. Keeping the workspace organised and following health and safety is always a priority.

By the time the last truck rolls out of the yard in the evening, there’s a real sense of pride. It’s a long, busy day, but knowing that the whole team has worked together to keep the supply chain moving makes it all worthwhile.

Fiona is the newest member of our sales team, who specialises in the food and beverage industry! It’s been a great first month getting to know Fiona, and now we would like you all too!
