Teamwork & Takeaways: April Highlights

April has flown by here at Tyler HQ, and what a month it’s been! Packed with energy, connection, and creativity, we’ve been on a roll – blending hard work with meaningful team moments. From our first quarterly team meeting of 2025 to exciting new video shoots, we’ve had plenty to celebrate and even more to look forward to.

This month gave us a great opportunity to reconnect in person, as the whole team gathered at Tyler HQ. We took time to reflect on our achievements from the first quarter, review the past fiscal year, and set the tone for what’s to come. Nothing beats catching up face-to-face, and it’s always refreshing to align around shared goals, wins, and ideas.

Midway through April, we kicked things off with our first quarterly team meeting of the year. These gatherings are always a highlight – filled with valuable business updates, shoutouts for recent successes, and a look at exciting initiatives in the pipeline.

After the meeting, we turned our focus to team building with a fun and interactive session. One of the activities? Drawing each other in themed styles like pirates, superheroes, and even food (yes, food!). It was creative, hilarious, and a brilliant way to break the ice and learn more about one another in a relaxed way.

To round out the day, we ventured into Warwick for a well-earned team dinner at Dough & Brew, a cozy pizza spot that came highly recommended by Levi and Sam. It was the perfect setting to unwind, chat about life outside of work, and enjoy some quality time together.

The following morning, we jumped straight into filming Series 2 of our video content, with the talented Andy Wood behind the camera. Along with Rob, he helped transform our staff room into a professional-looking set, complete with lighting and camera gear to give our content that polished edge.

This time, we expanded the team involved in filming to make it more inclusive – and fun! Our stars for the day included Tommy, Andrea, Mark, Adam, and Sam, who shared insights on features, trends, pouches, and much more. The sessions went smoothly, and (rumour has it) “One Take Mark” even made an appearance!

What stood out most was the incredible teamwork. Everyone supported each other, built up confidence, and kept the atmosphere light-hearted and enjoyable. We’re really proud of how the videos turned out – and we can’t wait to share them with you.

April reminded us that great work comes from strong connections. Whether it was brainstorming in meetings, getting silly with themed drawings, or stepping in front of the camera, we made the most of every moment.
